Rash Utsav - The Festival of Union

Rash Utsav is very famously celebrated by the Bhakts. I was lucky to be present at this Years Utsav.

It was a rejuvenating experience with Bhajan - Kirtan, Prasad and the chanting of Divine Hymns.

The day started early with Mangal Aarti and then I surrendered myself in Dhyan (meditation). It was blissful.
The cuckoo birds break the morning silence. With dark fog and serene silence, it was the perfect place for meditation.

The Utsav started in the evening. All the Bhakts and people from neighboring villages gathered to watch the Utsav - Festival of Love and Unity.

Below are the clicks of the Rash-Manch and Lord Shree Mahaprabhu.

Jai Shree Krishna !!!!

Lord Krishna - Teachings about work that Work

In Gita, Lord Krishna says "Do your Karma (Work) without thinking about what you get in Return"

Wonderful thought !!!

We live in a materialistic world, where every action is measured using a profit/loss calculator.

But, in a more reclusive lifestyle, I was amazed to see how content they are with Life.
The day begins early for these 2 women, who are Krishna-Bhakts (Worshipper of Lord Krishna).
When Kaveri and Janjala lost their husband  last summer year, they found support in each other. And they have accepted life as is. On asking about what they think about future, they smiled saying "We have surrendered ourselves in the service of the Lord". They said they find peace in making clay-pots and earthen-wares. Says Kaveri, we worship the work we do.

Not many of us can say that !!

Students, Scientists, Engineers, if we all could not think about the results and work just for the love of it.....Perfect World.

Well it exists, but we have to ask ourselves if that is what we want !!

Hardships never take you away from the Lord

Lord Mahaprabhu - The icon of Love

Bless All with Divine Love !!!

Lord Mahaprabhu is the Icon of Love. He taught us that we should Love everyone, for everyone is an Ansh (a part) of Lord Krishna.

Humanity is Mankind's best gift. And the Lord has blessed us all !!

The Andar Mahal (Inner Palace) where Vigraha (Idol) of Lord Mahaprabhu resides, resonates with positive energy and the Spirit of Love.

The renovated Andar-Mahal is as follows:

Mahaprabhu - The Lord who taught us about the Love of Shri Krishna

Shree Krishna is all about Love. His teachings led to the Bhakti Revolution in India.

Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was the charismatic avatar of Krishna. His followers and disciples are still residing in the Eastern States of India.

Even till this date, hundreds of Sadhus (Saints) and worshipers are welcome to have lunch at the Rasoi Ghar. The Family of Seva-Das (The Lord's Servant) do not have lunch even if there is a single worshiper left for lunch. They have their lunch at the end.

There were numerous times, when the family head gave his meal to a group of Saints - who mostly walk-in without notice :-). And lunch was again cooked for the family members. But no one was turned back without offering food.
This Love is inspired by Lord Krishna who believed in Humanity. And Chaitanya Mahaprabhu epitomized the Spirit of Love.

Anyone can sit and have lunch, and there is no bias made on caste or religion.
